Can't Get Rid of One Graduated Filter in Custom Presets

I've been working for a while on a custom preset pack for Lightroom. The single problem I'm having is that there is one graduated filter that I must have saved in a few of them that keeps popping up as I flip through them, seemingly at random. I've tried reseting or deleting the filter and then clicking "Update with Current Settings" with the box for Graduated Filters checked and also unchecked.

I have one preset folder for black and white that has perhaps twenty presets. I can go down the list and activate each of them and every fourth or fifth will show up with the same graduated filter. I can hit reset and then activate it again and it will be gone, but then the next time I come back it may be there. It seems that if I activate one of the few that I've saved that DOES have graduated filters then I have to hit reset to clear it out before I go to the next filter, but the one that I DON"T want seems to be popping up at random and I can't find a single preset that I ever purposefully saved it on.

I'm sure it's something boneheaded I'm doing on my end but it's been plaguing me for a few days and I'm getting frustrated. Any help or insight is most welcome. Cheers.

The easiest thing should be to simply apply the preset to an image, then choose to Update with Current Settings and make sure Graduated Filter is unchecked. Move through all of your presets like this.

I don't know how many suspect presets you have to go through, but you can also manually edit them with a simple text editor to remove the Graduated filter. If you right-click on the preset, you can show in Explorer/Finder. Open the file in Notepad/TextEdit and simply remove the GradientBasedCorrections section (this has many sub-fields, most of which start with "Local"). Save the file and move on to the next.

Thanks a ton Brett. I took all of them (nearly a hundred) into notepad and found at least twenty with the devilish graduated filter. That was a great solution. Problem solved
