Okay so I am pretty new to Dream Weaver. I am making a website for a friend and still getting used to the program. If you go to rustafer.com I am in the early stages of developing the site. The background is a solid grey which I did in CSS. I want to make a vertical gradient and I want to know if this is something that I can do using CSS or would I have to use an image as a background? I would really appreciate your responses.
You can definitely use pure CSS to generate any type of gradients - radial, linear, angular, etc...
You can use this website to generate one depending on your preference of colors - http://www.colorzilla.com/gradient-editor/
The output code provided to you is failsafe - all browser type support. However, note that some may not work in very old browsers.
