You do not need to purchase a subscription in order to share albums. This features is available to free users also.
If you wish to subscribe to Revel Premium, I have included a link below as well as one that explains sharing. If you want to share a link to an ALBUM , the recipients do not have to have Revel accounts, and you do not need to have Revel Premium (unless you want to upload more than 50 files a month) they just go to a web browser and open the link you send them. They can download the files if you allowed it. There is a way to do collaborative sharing of LIBRARIES, but this method requires that you add their email (adobe id) that they use for their Revel account and they must login to see the files. (and you need to be a premium user to allow the sharing). This collaborative sharing(sometimes called authenticated sharing) is often used by families where the head photographer has the premium account, and other family members who do not upload as many files, have free memberships. they can all add files to the same library and it 's albums.
I hope that helps.

FAQ: How do I sign up for Revel Premium?
Good morning Pattie,
This was very helpful…and I have now successful shared an album with a friend….but…I still can’t sign up for Revel Premium. I think I read that for 30 days there is unlimited uploads, so the Upgrade to Premium doesn’t appear after 50 uploaded files. Is there a way to subscribe from a link somewhere?
Thank you so much…my frustration level has been lowered considerably.
I am glad you successfully shared an album. That is some progress. If you have an iPad or iPhone you can upgrade as an in app purchase by clcking on the gear icon, and clicking on upgrade to unllimited support. If you do not, then you can either login on someone's ipad or ipnone, or wait until the 30 day premium upgrade is over and when you use up your allotment of 50, you can upgrade again via adoberevel.com. We hope to make this more obvious how to upgrade in the future.
