I have a Neat Video noise remover applied to a 10-minute clip. I just waited 1 1/2 hours to render in Premiere, thinking that if I exported it using the previews that it would speed things up. However, it doesn't seem to be using the preview files because it is taking over an hour to export using AME. Should I have not used AME and exported directly from PPro? I checked the box that says "Export using preview files" in the export dialog
What format are the previews? What format are you exporting to?
uncompressed 1080p export. match sequence. How do you set preview format? I never have. Footage is HDV, er, I'm sorry. Not HDV, but XDCAM EX from a JVC. Okay, in the sequence settings, previews are set to I-Frame only MPEG
That kind of throws up a red flag for me. I generally recommend against using the Match Sequence Settings checkbox and setting up your export manually. Try doing so, and report back.
