My internet security software has identified a trojan program in one of the InDesign program files.
The trojan is 'Packed.Win32.Katusha.e'
The trojan was found in C\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Adobe Indesign CS5.5\icuin36.dll
What should I do?
If you bought it from a legit reseller then assume it's a false positve and report it to the antivirus company. If you bought it cheap from a non-authorized source, you just found out why it was so cheap.
It is a legitimate package, purchased directly from Adobe and installed over twelve months ago.
You are probably correct in suggesting that it is a false positive.
I am pursuing this matter in parallel with the anti-virus supplier.
Almost certainly a false positive, but check the file properties. The legit version will be copyright 2005 International Business Machines, version 188.8.131.52 and 946 kb.
