If you're concerned about loading, you might need to essentially build a custom multi-comp by dynamically loading into an iframe. One thing you can do is to dynamically create a div and attach it to the comp, then delete it when you're done:
var iframevar = document.createElement('iframe');
iframevar.src = 'http://my-edge-doc-path';
are there any solutions/recommended practices for this kind of situation where you want content to be displayed before everything is loaded?
Flash was genius in this, as you could have things streamed, loaded on demand etc -- full control
What are the best ways to do this in Edge Animate? Like something animates into a static screen; on click of a few buttons next sections are displayed. And/or other assets are loaded in the background
I assume there must be better ways than splitting it into different Animate compositions and manipulating them from outside!?
Any tips would be greatly appreciated!
