Adobe Premier CS6: I can't save the project to another hard drive for safety. I've tried with large projects and then with small ones as that didn't work.
I start with the Project Manager, "collect files and copy project to a new location" and I rendered all the sequences first, then saved the project, then tried to export. It seems to go through all the motions, says "copying files" etc., and finally it says "unable to copy files due to an unknown error".
I've tried saving to two different drives. When I look in the destination folders they are empty. What am I doing wrong! I worry about my drives developing faults and then all my work will be lost. I need to save these projects somewhere safe!!
Any ideas folks? I'm not exactly an expert on computers by the way.
I recommend using a proper file manager like Explorer or Finder to move and copy things around your hard dries, not an NLE. This is one reason why.
