my system meets the spec requirements.
That's nothing but a bold, but otherwise useless statement. Provide the exact system specs, render settings, comp settings, footage sources, audio, media and disk cache prefs and so on as well as any other information that may be relevant like whether you have installed any CoDec packs or alternate media player software that may contaminate your system's CoDecs.
on any format other than h.264.
any ore some? It's quite hard to believe that AE isn't rendering a single jpg file.
yeah. i know my explanation was a bit vague (i was in deadline panic mode).
i was just hoping someone would chime in saying there was a known issue with the cs6 update or something...
4 gigs ram (meager, yes. but ive run AE on it for years)
video shows 2 cards: NVIDIA 9400m 256 and NVIDIA 9600mGT 512
appears that im running quicktime 7.6.6
have FCP 6 installed so im running whatever codecs it comes with (never was a problem with ae cs4...)
and all drives have 100gigs or more free space and the message i get says target disk is full...
wonder if updating to 10.7 would help...?
Got multiprocessing on? Turn it off.
nope. it was off. i wondered if it being on would help. so i tried that and got the same error.
so it's off once again.
reinstalled AE CS4 and everything works perfectly as it should.
not sure what's going on with 6...
