May 1 v26 Release

the google play content viewer is live, right?

I tested pdf in android today and it was able to do so, after reinstalling ACV.

Is the viewer the final r26 version? or is there still something in the works?

yup, that works, but in the content viewer none of my HTMLResources/pdf files are showing up. they are just blank.

tried with non-interactive pdf-files.

Is this a specific ACV problem, or does this also exist in the live-app?

And when will this happen? This is a dealbreaker for us. Our customer will be furious.

We had the information, via an adobe employe, that this feature would be covered. We communicated this to our customer.

Linking to PDF files in HTMLResources to then render them in the in-app web browser is not supported. Is that what you are trying to do?

If not, I suggest following up directly with the Adobe Employee you spoke with regarding your specific use case, they should be able to route the concerns back to the product team.

With this update we are no longer able to specify custom library code and hide the Navigation Bar at the same time, which we were able to do in the last release. Is this intentional? Can it be reverted?

Of course:

• Make a Multi Folio app
• Check Show navigation toolbar
• Assign .zip file to custom App library
• Uncheck Show navigation toolbar
• Complete app process
• Launch app
• App shows default app library viewer

It's regarding the custom library issue (posts 7&9) in that, the new v26 doesn't allow us to hide the library icon once we have added our HTML - therefore resulting in being forced to have the bar at the bottom of the screen with the library button, and this is not what we want, as per v25, we could turn this off after adding our HTML.

That's a known issue that won't be addressed until release 27.

Understood, to confirm, the release 27 incorporates the Folio Producer and App Builder? Do you know when this release will be available, as we are unable to produce an update to our App until this has been rectified.

We update all our tools when a new release comes out, so it covers Folio Producer and App Builder. It is currently planned for sometime in July.

Disappointed to hear this news, over 3 weeks after this issue was raised, 2 May. I would have expected a 26.5 or 27 update to be published a lot sooner as this must be a feature you hadn't omitted intentionally.
