    Calling a javascript function

    AndrewNock
      Hi all,
      I've got a director file which is in a <div> tag in an html page. I want to be able to call a function in that html page to hide the div tag, therefore hiding the director file. I can do this fine outside of director, and hides the file ok, but I want it to be called from within the director file.

      I have tried using gotonetpage "javascript:divHideDCR()" - this works great, apart from when I show the director file again, it just has the loading bar on...

      externalEvent("divHideDCR()") doesn't seem to be working for me

      calling a getURL from a flash file inside director doesn't work either.

      Please help! Andy

          What JS are you using?

          This might work:-

          document.getElementById(what).style.display=='none';

          (Replace "what" to suit.)
