jkuhns5 May 2, 2013 4:49 AM (in response to nigeljwoodswipe)Before you try downgrading, did you delete your inDesign prefs? It tends to solve alot of problems.

Yves Apel - IC May 2, 2013 5:00 AM (in response to nigeljwoodswipe)Hi,
it is not the Creative Cloud log-in that will be asked but you can still enter the Account log-in you used for your publication. It just puts you CC-Address by default into the user field. But you can replace it with your publication address.
It just looks weird as the window design has changed to the common log-in window.
Kind regards,
Yves

5. Re: HELP! Can't sign in to Folio Builder panel since v26 update
benjaminmueller_burda May 2, 2013 5:08 AM (in response to Yves Apel - IC)Hi,
I don't know how your answer helps at all ..
to put it in layman's terms : Since updating to v26 of the the InDesign PlugIn "Folio Builder" (aka DPS Desktop Tools) it is not possible to login to the DPS Suite. It is not possible to work on "online" folios.

20. Re: HELP! Can't sign in to Folio Builder panel since v26 update
Creative Noodle May 2, 2013 9:51 PM (in response to nigeljwoodswipe)V26 update has bascially shut down communication between Folio Builder & Folio Producer. Login is now impossible. You can login to DPS Folio Producer organizer via browser easily enough & view anything existing prior to this forced V26 update. There is no communication between the two (Folio Builder or Producer). With deadlines due & thousands of dollars spent with Adobe for Gold Contracts - why is an update released without first making sure it isn't a disaster! How long till this is fixed & is there someone at Adobe taking any serious action to rectify the problem!

22. Re: HELP! Can't sign in to Folio Builder panel since v26 update
nigeljwoodswipe May 3, 2013 6:10 AM (in response to Nethra Krishnamoorthy)Thanks Nethra, this solution does indeed fix my problem.
You have to display the hidden Library folder first by loading Terminal and typing "defaults write com.apple.Finder AppleShowAllFiles YES" then hitting return. Relaunch the finder from the Force Quit window, and the path below can now be accessed
/Users/{username}/Library/Application Support/Adobe/OOBE
then move that folder to the trash (you may need to restart before you can empty it). Then voila, I can login in with both my cloud account and dps account and the folios show up in the builder panel.
To hide your hidden files again type defaults "write com.apple.Finder AppleShowAllFiles NO" into terminal and relaunch the finder again
Thanks
Nigel

For anyone else seeing problems, you could try applying the patch http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/kb/unable-sign-applying-csxs-patch.html

31. Re: HELP! Can't sign in to Folio Builder panel since v26 update
John J Metzger May 6, 2013 10:11 AM (in response to Reif Morey)Please go throught the steps of creating a new Adobe Id and see if you can log into the FBP with that new ID. That will help us narrow down the problem to the account vs connectivity problems using the software. Please report back.

35. Re: HELP! Can't sign in to Folio Builder panel since v26 update
Adrian Sebastian Daras May 7, 2013 10:10 PM (in response to Reif Morey)I have your problem too. I think, it's a bug, when DPS users updating from old version.

36. Re: HELP! Can't sign in to Folio Builder panel since v26 update
TonyZhong May 7, 2013 8:55 PM (in response to Reif Morey)You can try javiadas's suggestion:
Uninstall every product of adobe i have in my computer
apply the cleaner that adobe give us in http://www.adobe.com/support/contact/cscleanertool.html
And then install everything again.
It does work for me.
But, It took me more than 3 hours to finish all the processes. In fact, I tried it last night after my work.
I can't image to ask all designers to do so. They have more Adobe Products than I do.
Hope Adobe provide an easy way to fix it soon!

37. Re: HELP! Can't sign in to Folio Builder panel since v26 update
Reif Morey May 8, 2013 12:03 AM (in response to TonyZhong)I didn't do it. I tried uninstalling only InDesign and then using the CS Cleaner Tool. I think I did it twice, but it doesn't work.

38. Re: HELP! Can't sign in to Folio Builder panel since v26 update
Jianlan Song May 8, 2013 7:57 PM (in response to Reif Morey)I’d like to try to summarize various issues related to FBP sign-in failures reported in this thread to hopefully provide better clarification on current known issues and their workarounds. From what we know so far there are 2 distinct issues wrt FBP sign-in failure with different workaround:
1. When user launches FBP or in FBP offline state, clicking on “sign in” link or menu does nothing. No sign in dialog is shown and no error displayed either in FBP. Current known workaround is:
Uninstall Adobe Creative Suite on the system
Apply the cleaner @ http://www.adobe.com/support/contact/cscleanertool.html
Reinstall Adobe Creative Suite
2. When user launches FBP or clicks on “sign in” link or menu, “Sign in to Creative Cloud Membership” dialog comes up, when user enters DPS credential and click on “sign in”, and error dialog is displayed with error [IMS_ERROR_IN_SAVE_USER_DATA] and the user cannot sign in. The known workaround is:
Close FBP and Indesign;
Deleting /Users/{username}/Library/Application Support/Adobe/OOBE/opm.db or just remove the entire OOBE folder;
Restart InDesign and FBP;
When the user clicks “sign in” again and enter the DPS credential in “Sign in to Creative Cloud Membership”dialog to sign in, FBP should be able to enter online state and show all the folios in the account.
DPS engineering team is actively investigating the root cause of both issues. Before a fix is available, if you encounter either of these two issues and the problem still exists after you tried the workaround, please report back to forum.
Thanks!
Jianlan

sebaimperio@yahoo.com.ar May 9, 2013 6:12 AM (in response to Jianlan Song)I am suffering Case 1. as described Jianlan Song,
Delete the entire Adobe Creative Suite CS5.5 and CS6 (Apply the cleaner) and went back to reinstall CS6, and THE PROBLEM STILL CONTINUES.
I am very sad.
