Can you post the code you're using (or better yet, share the file)?
You bet, lets see if I do this right. I have uploaded my doc to my workspaces under shared so hopefully you can open
this version has that code blocked to not run as it is my working copy and I don't want the templates to hide while I am working on
Then it has the code to bring up the dialogue box to ask staff if it is the first or second letter - that is the one that keeps popping up
Finally there is some scripting in the tick box by the third bullet - when I tick the box the initial dialogue box pops up again
If you want some code to launch only once (when you open the file), don't
use the Page Open command but embed it as a doc-level script, outside of
any function definitions.
Cool, thanks. I have seen the doc level script I was just never sure how to set it up
Would I just name it something and cut and past my code in there?
Yes. When you create a doc-level script it automatically generates a
function declaration with the name you specified. You should remove that
before pasting your code into the window.
OMG, thank you. So easy. I had brought up those doc level items before and saw that function stuff and just shut down
Well, I have a few forms already done that I need to clean up now. Thank you so much
