I am editing footage from a DSLR camera. The audio was recorded separately.
I am using Plural Eyes to sync the material. The DSLR camera has no encrypted time code but the audio file does. In order to log and organize the material I would like to use a time code that is embedded rather than the running time code, which constantly changes.
How can I visiblly read the Time Code, which is embedded in the Audio File?
Hmmm... this might be worth a feature request.
The best way I can figure is to use an Adjustment Layer
for the Timecode effect and select the 'Generate' option.
Then you can manually input the timecode from the target audio track.
It would be nice if you could target a specific track in this menu:

I will try that!!
It could work nicely for long interviews but be very annoying when syncing
establishing shots and B roll.
I took your suggestion and filed a feature request!
Thanks for your feedback!!
