Hi, this is probably an age-old question which has also probably been answered many times before. However I couldn't find the answer I wanted in a search on this forum.
My question is simply this: When wanting to create a DVD from HD footage it generally best to:
1. Downconvert the footage to DV (either in post or in-camera)
2. Create a sequence to match the footage and burn via Encore
3. Create a DV sequence and resize the footage
I'm using Adobe Premiere Pro CS5.5 in the UK (PAL)
I'd be really grateful for any views.
2. Create a sequence to match the footage and burn via Encore*
To achieve the optimum quality, it is generally considered best practice
to export your MPEG2-DVD file from Premiere then import to Encore
instead of using Dynamic Link.
Excellent, thanks Joe for replying so quickly.
I shall certainly take your advice.
