Yep, just didn't want to ramble on if there was no-one out there.
I made all the text files on http://homepage.ntlworld.com/john.kirk/ for the links on the left next to the sheep. Then we decided to change one of the pages to tutorials so I needed a new file to match. As you can see, it doesn't :") At all. It's all jagged edged and horrible. I'm in elements now and I've opened one of the old files and gone to resize it so I can see the resolution and it's filled in as 72 pixels per inch, but I'm not sure if that's my file or a suggestion for resizing?
The font looks like the letters are more widely spaced? I lost the font and had to reinstall, so that might actually be different.
As I'm saving the file as a gif to keep the transparent background, I'm given lots of options. I have no idea what any of them mean, so I just press OK. I would have done this when I made the originals, but the options might be set up differently now.
On this page http://homepage.ntlworld.com/john.kirk/programme.htm, you can see the shadow file I made for mouse over using another font. Again, that horrible rough edged look and so dark.
Any tips gratefully received :)
