    Empty text area in Master

Hi, I'm wondering if it is possible to place an empty text frame in a Master that let me write in when not in master. I want to use a template that shows me, as an example, 3 empty text frames where I have to type text. Text will be different from one page to another but not the location of it and the spec of the text (size, color, etc)    Thanks in advance.

Yes, but I don't particularly recommend it most of the time, though three frames that are always positioned the same may qualify for my exception list.  To use master frames to type directly they must first be manually overridden ont the document page, and that's about as time-consuming as drawing a new frame snapped to some guides you put on the master page. I would only use master frames if you need to have different paragraph styling assigned by default in each frame.
