    Another disappointed customer

      Hi,

I'm truly astounded by this move.

We have 24 licenses of Design Standard CS5.5 where I work. An upgrade license for this to CS6 will cost ~500 USD each (converted from danish prices), which will set us back around 12,000 in total. Usually we did this every 18 month when a new version came, ending out in a total monthly expense of around 700 USD all in all.

With the new Creative Cloud, we're forced to subscribe to 24 licenses, each costing 90 USD (again, danish prices), bringing the total expense each month to 2,160 USD.

I cannot in any way explain to my boss what extra we gain from paying 1500 USD more each month. I'm confident, that we will stay on CS5.5 for as long as humanly possible. If it ever happens that our clients starts asking for CC-compatible files, I'll make sure to tell them how I feel about this move.

Here's to hoping, that Adobe will come to their senses and make "normal" licensing available for volume costumers. If not, you have my word - you won't get another dime from my company.

      Regards,

      Thomas
