Did you reboot after uninstalling the preview? Check your program files folder for Edge remants. Also you might want to check the registry to see where the remnants would be. But do not mess with the registry if you are not familiar with it.
You'll probably get some other pointer from Edge team.
Ok now I feel a little stupid. It was the Edge Preview. I did not think to uninstall that as it was a separatehttps://www.google.com/search?client=firefox-a&hs=DY7&rls=org.mozilla:en-US:official&q=sep arate&spell=1&sa=X&ei=XGyKUePNGOXzyAHlkYHoDg&ved=0CC0QvwUoAA uninstaller. After uninstalling that and rebooting everything is installing now. Thank you!!

I have the same error code...
"A beta version of this product exists on the computer. Please quit and uninstall that version before continuing; contact support."

i uninstalled and rebouted...
But the error message and uninstaller gave me no clue that the
Edge Preview may be the culprate......... to uninstall that as well....
off tto try my hand at it...
