I want to import an existing fillable PDF form for use in FormsCentral. I understand that I can only distribute it as a PDF form and not a web form (as those created in FormsCentral from scratch). Also, I understand that respondents will need to use Acrobat Reader or Acrobat (full version) to complete this kind of PDF form. The data from respondents' completed forms will go to the FormsCentral server, but when is the data (responses) encrypted in this situation? Is the data encrypted FIRST and then sent over the internet? I am concerned about security of the data in a PDF-distributed form. Please let me know how all of this works. Thanks!
Yes, the data from Acrobat/Reader is encrypted before sending to the FormsCentral servers (just like a web form).
The data is completely secure in transist.
