      I need help downloading Ebooks I purchased with an old computer to my new iPad. It keeps saying it was originally downloaded to a different Adobe ID but it list the same ID I've always used & to my knowledge I've never had a different ID. Then it's says a different user ID OR Adobe ID. I never deauthorized on my old computer bc it's screen goes out after 2 minutes of use so I don't know if that has anything to do with it or not. If anyone can help I would be grateful bc I've been on bed rest & I would really like to read these old Ebooks without having to pay for them again. Thanks!

          ADE sometimes gets its authorizations confused.

          Try removing the authorization on your new computer (ctrl-shift-D to ADE, cmd-shift-D if on a Mac),

          restart ADE and authorize it again.

          You should be able to copy the .epub files from the old to the new computer (if the old one works well enough) without redownloading;

          but you will still need the IDs to match.
