It depends on how your symbol is setup and what kinds of animation you are doing. Fades with a lot of text or complex vector art are super expensive.
Beyond that, I would need to see how the FLA is setup to give further advice.
there is 2 very little fades but its mostly just resizing/moving.
none of it is vector art.
ive heard i can export a sprite sheet or something but i dont really know how to go about doing that.
at a minimum you should
1. have a background bitmap if it's possible for the stage background to be displayed and
2. you need to assign a cacheAsBitmapMatrix for everything that undergoes a bitmap change (except for movieclip's that change frame - there's nothing you can do to increase performance with those except learn how to use a spritesheet and using stage or partial blitting).
the stage background is just a grey colour set up in the document so that doesnt appy.
How do i assign a cacheAsBitmapMatrix? I did cache everything i could in the side bar as a bitmap.
do you ever see your stage background? if yes, you should use a background bitmap or vector object with cachedAsBitamp enabled.
