      Well that about says it see ya Adobe I will not spend one dime with you and will laugh as your stock drops and the lay offs start. For i am off to open sourse GIMP

          Bye now...note, you're in for a rude awaking...but you knoew that right? GIMP is ok...but you can't really compare it to Photoshop. You might want to look at Elements...but if not, good luck getting your work done with GIMP (I've downloaded the current version for OSX and, well, it ain't apples to oranges...)

            I still have an old version of Photoshop to use and its cs4 and good enough for my needs. I dont see any need to give Adobe a dime. They are greedy and not alowing upgrades. So ya Gimp or something else will take adobes place in the future.

            Ps My rude awakening was Adobe saying i cannot upgrade and that I should just get on the puffy little clowd. Now I am awake and pissed off and every pro i know and have talked to is also pissed. So with no income Adobe has maybe 5 years. You may be on Gimp  or something else before you know it.
