are these fonts licensed one or you have just copied it from windows/font to customer font directory.
if you dont have license for arial series, it will not work because adobe respects font license.
They are licenced via either Windows or office. I didnt go out and buy fonts that I legally own via other programs. I am just embedding the font and flattening the PDF. Adobe Output checks for fonts in the windows font directory anyway.
no, it will not work because license is not taken for adobe forms.
it will work only for fonts(adobe myriad pro......etc) that are listed on adobe font directory because those are licensed along with adobe server.
for other fonts you have to take separate font license.
I have worked past some other kind of font issues I was having (such as a pdf coming up blank after it goes through output and assembler due to a bad font substitution) with downloading a few free fonts from the internet, not the arial family but dingbats, Universal std news with comm pi and a couple others and it works fine (I am only in testing / POC phase not production). Given all of the past issues that have come up with the Arial Narrow font family, I have to believe there is something else going on.
I have the same problem with all my fonts including liberation fonts...
@Arial-License: How can I obtain the license?
I had the same problem and solved it after one week of searching like follows:
- I configured the customer font path to "/opt/adobe/fonts"
- I copied all my system fonts I need to this folder without creating any subfolder
- I laughed out loud, that this really worked...
I guess, LC is just not using any systemfonts at all....
