need to show hand gestures??? This could be any of about a dozen things I can think of. I don't know of any 'templates' that anyone has built for demonstrating an app on an iPad. I doubt there is a large enough market out there for that kind of thing to justify the expense of creating and marketing a template that is that specific.
Tell us what you are trying to do in a little more detail or show us some similar videos and maybe we can point you in the right direction. I suspect you may be very new to AE. If so, you are going to have to learn the program fairly well to pull off anything original.
Yes need to show the hand gestures. Any suggestions would be perfect. Thanks Rick. Just worried with time. I had my phone stolen so have been trying to resolve that and need to get cracking with this for Friday morning presentation.
I am going to try show basic hand gestures just to show where on the screen a child would touch. I'll try attach a Youtube video now to show you what I would like to do. Not too new but have not used it in two years now so very scrappy!!
Not the best example but I would like to do something similar. If not I guess screenshots and a "tapping" gesture can help. Creatively it just needs to explain the App in the best visual way.
Those twelve suggestions may be very handy.!!
I don't know iPads. I'm a Luddite.
But I'd think there would be a port on it that would allow you do simply demo the software to a display device like a video projector. You wouldn't need AE.
Those hand gestures are shot with a camera. Have you got a camera? Shoot some against an iPad. If you don't have access to a camera then I'd just draw a hand in Illustrator and then take some screenshots of your App and animate the hand. You might try a search for stock footage of a hand working an iPad. Shutterstock has some green screen hand gestures.
