Advice on cleaning up transparent edges?

    Picturequest Level 1

      Hi!

I'm using Alien's Exposure plug in to create a natural edge around some art work. Unfortunately, it is leaving a cast around the "trim" which prints out as a light grayish.  Is there an easy way to make that area pure white, while leaving the soft edge in tact?

This is a large file 24x36 @300. Some of the brushes are very slow. I tried the selection brush.

I also don't want to alter the main artworks color or exposure.

I was thinking about some type of duplicate layers multiplied? to create a mask?

      Any thoughts.  See attached.

Mainly I need a way since I will be doing many with this edge technique.
