It's not possible to import f4v files into Premiere (at least on Win7 64bit system). Don't have a workaround also.
It may well depend on the file. You can always convert it to something PP likes. I use Xvid4PSP to convert my oddball videos.
No, you can't do it always. I'm talking about f4v files made by Adobe Flash Media Live Encoder. It is using something specific for f4v container files called ''moof" and this non-standart feature is a problem for years now. The only way get at least something out from files made by Media Live Encoder (worked for me) is to stream files using VLC media player and save this stream (can be done within a VLC, read player help for it). At lest I saved the audio part of the videos this way.
