    Changing hues in MC

Anyidea how do we change the hues while maintaining the gradient of a MovieClip, using the colorObject method in AS2.
I know how to change color using colorObject. Does the getTransform do this piece of work?
      Thanks

you'll need to use the bitmapdata class to control each pixel. but it's simpler and may be satisfactory for you to use a black and/or white movieclip whose _alpha you control and attach to your target mvoieclip to give the effect of darkening and/or lightening your target.

another thought here, if you do start with a b/w gradient, you can use the ColorTransform class to transition the grad. Here's a really basic example: FILE

              Hi,
Just to share with you that I made use of the getTransform method and it worked fine. Is the multiplier method a preferred method for changng gradients in symbols?
