Premiere elements 10 is not working correctly but I cannot uninstall it or reinstall it because it askes me to close an application called "dynamiclinkmanager" but I can find no such file or application on my computer.

I am assuming that you are using Premiere Elements 10 on Windows.

Have you tried to the following:

          a. Right click the Taskbar at the bottom of your computer.

          b. Select Task Manager/Processes

          c. Browse through the list of processes which should include "dynamiclinkma..."

          d.  Right click "dyanmiclinkmanager" there and select End Process.

Please let us know if that worked for you.

Remember, in posting, the answers are in the details, so lots of details.

          Thanks.

Thanks for responding. I am running Premiere Elements 10 on a Mac Book Air with OSX 10.6.8. I have recently moved to Mac from a PC so am still learning. I don't therefore have a two button mouse and no task bar as is on a PC. I have a dock but no right click to click. Sooo what now?

            Thanks again linessharp

Let us try another approach, but this one is going to have to be team work with you doing the translating from PC to Mac.

With my Windows 7 or 8 64 bit, I can find the dynamiclinkmanager.exe (which I think you are after) via the path:

              Local Disk C

              Program Files

              Adobe

              Adobe Premiere Elements 10

              32

and in the 32 Folder is the dynamiclinkmanager.exe

But wait, I just found the following link

              http://forums.adobe.com/message/3420892

Do you have an Activity Monitor on your Mac? If so, based on the comment in the link, it sounds like you will find the dynamiclinkmanager there.

Please let us know if that is a break through to success.

              Thanks.
