I need to make a design using graphics, photos and text for output to both A3 and A4. Before starting the project, do I assume that the resize tool will be the best way if I start using the largest size? And provided I output to the same aspect sizes, this would maintain the photos aspect wiothout distorting. Or is there a better way? Appreciate any advice you may have.
If you're talking about the Scale liquid layout rule in InDesign CS6, yes, that should work relatively well. You might need to tweak the layout after resizing.
Thanks for the quick reply, Steve. Don't know the Scale liquid layout rule. I just tried shift/resizing tool on an existing design, and worked OK, and just watched the size change in the Control panel. I expect if I reset the page layout to A4 first, from A3, then resize to guidelines, would be better and more accurate? Is there a link to the Scale Liquid layout rule that I could view?
