    Macbook vs PC

There are clear visible differences between the published form I have created when viewing on a PC compared to a Macbook. Please inform me why this is the case and how I can stop these inconsistencies.

This is most likely due to your using a different browser on each platform.  The rendering engines in different browsers will result in slightly different web pages.  One way to try to minimize this would be to pick the same browser on each platform (Chrome or Firefox).  Another would be to convert your form to a pdf and user Adobe Reader/Acrobat to view the form.
