Thanks Justin for the reply..
When I use Externalizer, I'm getting the hostname (ie., localhost:4502) which is configured at 'Day CQ Link Externalizer' configurations. But as my instance's host name is different, I would be changing the host name in the configuration. I hope there won't be any other dependencies even if I change the host names in 'Day CQ Link Externazlier' configuration, am I right?
I'm not sure what you mean. The Externalizer is used whenever (or should be used) whenever code needs to generate absolute URLs to the author or publish (or some other) environment. If the configuration is wrong, any link generated would also be wrong.
Yep Justin, If the configuration is wrong, any link generated would also be wrong.. I mean, default configuration will be some thing like..
I mean, I can change those configurations as per my instance host name, right?
Example: my instance's host url is: mytest:1501
So I would like to update the same in configurations ..
Yes - you should update the configuration.
Thanks a lot Justin for quick replies. It really saved my time.. I will get back to you If i need anything else regarding this..
