If your HDD is over 1 TB, chances are 4 won't work. That's all I can add.
If you have Photoshop 4, you are eligible for Photoshop v9 aka Photoshop CS2 at no cost and with far more features.
http://www.adobe.com/downloads/cs2_downloads/ for the Windows installer and use the serial number posted next to it.
You need to reinstall your software properly. You cannot just "move" it.
Gener7, where did you find the eligibility list for the CS2 software?
From the "and older software" in the title of http://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/policy-pricing/creative-suite-2-activation-end-life.htm l ?
BTW, I'm not trying to confront you, but to get the info, if I missed it!
Hi, Feganjr3, are you talking about Photoshop 4, or Photoshop CS4 (Photoshop 11)? it is not the same thing.
This discussion thread, Pierre:
Chris Cox might have been referring to just the activated CS only, but I get the impression from that discussion that a license holder of "all versions" prior to CS2 could legally download and use CS2.
Thank you for this useful information, Roger!
