Count me in the list of thoroughly disgusted Adobe customers. I have bought every PS Standard since version 4.0 (not CS4) and every LR since 1.0. I am probably not going to even upgrade to LR 5 because I do not wish to add to the number of images and edits held hostage to that environment. My belief is that LR will either moved to CC or be orphaned. If PS Standard at $199 per upgrade is not important enough to TPTB, then how can a $79 per upgrade program be worthy of continuing support by the "new" Adobe?
At some point in the future, I will probably switch from Windows to Mac to gain access to Aperture as a base for my plugin collection, and to gain access to Final Cut Pro as I get into video. PP CC is not an option. I have a Windows PS CS6 Standard upgrade DVD and serial no. What is the policy going forward for obtaining a cross-grade to the Mac version of the same program? I do not need or want extended. I want to know how quickly I need to acquire a Mac before Adobe requires CC to switch from Windows to Mac.

Hi Lloyd
We plan to sell Creative Suite 6 for use on supported platforms indefinitely. The same therefore applies to cross platform swaps for Creative Suite 6.
Hope this helps.
Kind regards
