Making a hit or a slap in the face

The anouncment of the cloud only model on may 6th I find this paragraph odd.

"Creative Cloud’s advanced capabilities are making it a hit with the worldwide creative community: more than a half million paid members, and well over 2 million free members have signed up for Creative Cloud since it was launched in April 2012."

As a creative i feel slaaped in the face

the 500k of users are mostly the 29 rate. The 2mil number has got to be another Adobe lie. When will they start telling the truth?

      then there is this

“We launched Creative Cloud a year ago and it has been a runaway success,” said David Wadhwani

more like a train wrek if you read the forums

I use Adobe Ideas on my iPhone, which is great for doodling. It was offered free at some point. However, the only way to get your files off the phone and onto your desktop is to use Adobe's Cloud. So I'm a signed up member for the "free" Cloud. Which means I'm included in those 2 million people. Even though I have no intention of renting the Creative Cloud software.

For what it's worth, the market is slapping Adobe right back!  Since the CC announcement, the stock has gone from $47/share to $42.21/share - that's a total loss of around $2.4 BILLION in market capitalization in 3 weeks.  During that time some significant resistance points have broken.  I don't believe anybody is going to be a buyer of this stock until management changes this bad decision.  They might not listen to their customers, but hopefully they will be forced to listen to their shareholders!
