in InDesign CS6, I'm trying to create a timeline for my company, showing what happened in 1957, 1959 and so on. I use buttons and animations. The problem is, I can only get them to work sequentially. Once a button is clicked, I can't click on an "older" button. I tried reversing the actions of all the other animations, but it doesn't happen simultaneously, I see all the actions in steps.
Does anyone have a tip on how to fix this?
Is this for interactive PDF or SWF? Animations won't work with interactive PDF.
swf. The animations work just fine, I just can't find the function that allows me to hide any other animation at the click of a new button, allowing me to freely choose any "Year-button" on my timeline and having it replace the previous event.
What I need is not to hide after animating (which is an option), but to hide at next action. Is there any way to achieve this?
Ooops, sorry! I found it - the solution is multi-state objects
