1. Re: Firefox Drag and Drop Image to AI CS6 - displaces art on art board...
Mike Gondek2 May 24, 2013 12:36 PM (in response to Joseph Nicolia)Does this happen consistently on every document, and on a new document?
Select all your elements, in transform palette make sure align to pixel grid is unchecked.

Joseph Nicolia May 24, 2013 1:45 PM (in response to Mike Gondek2)It happens consistently in new documents, opened documents, etc- ONLY when FF is used.
If we use Chrome to drag an object in (image from a page), it works fine.
No settings in Transform Palette or other related placement/move relevant functions appears to impact this.

3. Re: Firefox Drag and Drop Image to AI CS6 - displaces art on art board...
Joseph Nicolia Jun 3, 2013 3:46 PM (in response to Joseph Nicolia)It turns out that this doesn't only happen in Firefox, but the results appear (at this point) to be completely random.
It happens in some instances in Chrome, but less frequently.
Also, I have some examples where it is not happening at all in Firefox.
Can't find a common thread for the problem- it's not a browser version or AI version thing, it's not a file version thing, it's not even, seemingly, the results of the objects being dragged out of the browser.
