We recently recorded a presentation where we video recorded the presenter speaking, however the presenter was also using a PowerPoint Presentation which wasn’t recorded, we do however have the PowerPoint separately available. I was wondering if there is any feature in Premiere Pro CS5 which would allow us to have a 'Picture in Picture effect (not sure if that is the correct terminology) where we have the recorded presentation the main video, and insert in the lower right hand corner another video (overlaid??) feed of the PowerPoint presentation turned into a video (of the same length as the main)? I can convert the PP presentation easily enough so I guess my simple question is can you have two separate videos and somehow edit so one is a picture in picture of the other using Premiere Pro (or some other package of CS5?)
Thanks for any advice.
That is the correct term. There are PiP presets in the Effects pane, or you can do this manually by adjusting the parameters of the Motion effect.
Thanks Jim that worked perfectly
