What is the file size of your .prproj file?
Does your Project contain a lot of individual Sequences?
Have you used the Warp Stabilizer in your Project?
Do you have a lot of Dynamically Linked elements in your Project?
When you open your Project, can you see (bottom left of interface)
all of the media files being located and loaded into the Project?
If you have lots of source media, this can take some time to complete:
Some do have as many as four sequences and lots of clips. Not sure how big th file size is, how do you check? The warp stabilizer is not being used. Do not know what dynamically linked is. It stalls before it gets to the point where it reads conforming filesand such on the right hand corner as you show. It opens the page then if you tryand click it will say program not responding for several minutes before finally opening
Four Sequences is not very many.
You can check your Project file size by looking at the .prproj file.
Dynamic Linked elements are obviously not the problem (since
you don't know what they are, I doubt you have used them).
What is shown above appears on the bottom left of the interface.
That is an indication of the media files being located and loaded
into the Project. Note the circled progress '(14 remaining)'.
What you will see on the bottom right will be audio files conforming
(note the yellow bar indicating the progress of a single media file).
Do not interrupt the conforming process, and allow plenty of time
for all files to complete conforming before you try to start editing.
If your Project is re-conforming audio files every time you
open the Project, that may be another problem.
