a flash file that's 30 MB big. When I uploaded this flash file on the screen it was an inch big, but I want it to take up the whole home page, so I changed the settings in the display dimentions to a width of 931 and hieght of 700. I didn't do that in After Effects because of the size restrictions. I want to find out how I can make the text not look pixelated.
It doesn't look pixelated in my comp window or when I play it in flash, but on my site it looks pixelated.
Thank you for your time!
Your comp must be the same size as your intended delivery product.
Many effects are not supported as flash vectors so when you have a comp with these effects exporting a flash file that includes these effects means that you're really getting a movie file with raster effects and therefore the file size is going to be bigger than a straight flash file.
My advice, if you are delivering flash then author in flash. AE is frankly lousy at it. About the only useful feature is to export a XFL file and open that in flash to finish it.
