Welcome to the forum.
Unfortunately we do not have much to go on. Can you look over this FAQ Entry, and post the answers to the questions asked: http://forums.adobe.com/thread/961741?tstart=0 ?
Also, since this sounds like a display issue, please go into detail on your video card, and your video driver, plus your Preferences settings for Playback.
Thanks for that info, and good luck,
Thank you Bill,

You still haven't specified exactly what your 'trouble' is.
Video is not appearing in the playback window. I can hear the audio...just no video.
Which window? Source Monitor, Program Monitor, both? What about the Preview thumbnail? What do you see when you load the clip - black, the first frame, gray?
What kind of clip is it? Where exactly did you get it?
1st, the usual problem is an out of date video driver... go to http://www.nvidia.com/Download/index.aspx?lang=en-us and check for your model
2nd, exactly what kind of video are you editing?
Read Bill Hunt on a file type as WRAPPER http://forums.adobe.com/thread/440037
What is a CODEC... a Primer http://forums.adobe.com/thread/546811
What CODEC is INSIDE that file? http://forums.adobe.com/thread/440037
Report back with the codec details of your file, use the programs below... A screen shot works well to SHOW people what you are doing
3rd, does your project match your video?
