I would to add to the question of DonB9999.
Also I'm looking for information about this.
This has not been answered. I would like to use a gesture like a mouse button. My typical code is:
go to "place on timeline"
I tried to substitute the swipeLeftGesture but it didnt work. If someone can direct me I would be very appreciative.
swipe gestures ar iOs only
if you are working with w7 there is an xtra available written by Valentin Schmidt.
It reads the data provided by the windows touch-driver.
But i had a lot of trouble with this driver (not the xtra) because its focus is system-wide.
especially the pinch-zoom and rotate gestures where conflicting, making the interface to appear 'buggy'.
In the end i abbandoned the driver..
swipe gestures can be easily mimiced with lingo
and there are prewritten scripts in the libary that comes with Director for zooming and rotation.
hope this helps
I am very interested in finding a solution to making a mimicked swipe for an interactive "book" which I have previously produced with simple buttons to jump on the timeline. The people I did these for want to have swipe to turn pages instead of touching a "next" button....
Can someone help me?
