Flash player update bombs out at 47% and nothing I can do changes that. Flash WAS dependable....

The update that fixes issues in Flash has issues of its own. I cannot get it to work. The download 'breaks' at 47% every time I try. I've read forums tried this, tried that.... nothing. What a pain. To see flash content, I have to change browsers, away from FireFox.

Why is there no phone number that I can call to talk to somebody about this. I spend two grand on an Adobe Suite and I can't find a support number.

Download and run the offline installer from http://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/installation-problems-flash-player-windows.html#main-pars_hea... (under the heading Progress bar hangs...).

After going after all the "Flash" on my machine and uninstalling it, and deleting Flash folders; the offline installer did the trick.

How did you delete flash folders? I think I took care of it but I am not sure
