I really need some help with this... anyone from Adobe monitor this forum?
It is primarily users here. Adobe staff will pop their heads in from time to time, but it's never guaranteed. The lack of response may simply be the scarcity of people still using tape.
Judging by the lack of response, I think you are right. Geesh!
Is there any point in logging this as a fault and if so, where would I do so?
Have you tried using the frame offset controls from the deck or within Premiere's capture settings?
Hopefully this will resolve the issue.
I always capture a little before and a little after, so I can't help. There is roll time before that might need to be set for a longer roll before capturing?
Hi Steven. Thanks for the input. I also use plenty of handles on digitising and pre-roll is not the issue (it is set to 5 seconds). Once the footage is captured, the source timecode reflected in PP is a frame out from what I know it to be.
Peter, I will give the offset control a try and see if it helps, thanks!
Thanks for the feedback.
The offset function did the trick.
