My audio file doesnt play on all speakers...

Hi, I was hoping someone could help me....

I have been capturing audio from a lapel mic plugged into a Olympus Voice recorder.  It only records at 44100, and as my movie is at 25 fps, I convert the file via Soundbooth to 48000.  My problem is that on my computer and DVD player, it sounds perect.  However, when I listen to it on my Iphone - or when other people watch the movie on a different DVD player, some cannot hear the audio file.  Although it plays fine on my computer, if I unplug my external speakers and listen on the internal speaker of the computer, again I cannot hear the file..... The rest of the audio, captured from different devices play perfectly,

I have tried saving the file as WMA and as MP3 - but with the same problem...

Can anyone help explain what is going on or how I can resolve this problem?

      Thanks,

      John
