I saw your post and thought i'd check with one of my sites, since lots of strange things are happening with the transition to CS3. With one of my sites this option doesn't work anymore either, but with another site it still works.
Checking the setting in the xml configuration files (_mm folder) hasn't cleared anything yet, since the settings seem to be ok in the xml file. I'm searching and will get back on this.
If you yourself find the solution will you please post it to? Anyone else any ideas?

I'm sorry, but the discussion thread you linked to has to do with standard HTML. We're using .NET Master Pages, not Dreamweaver templates, to manage standardized design elements. Is there anyone else out there using .NET Master Pages with Contribute CS3 that can tell us how to solve this issue?
