What system did you install on? Have you made sure to pick the same locations so it is automatically added to the library?
I am working on an HP with an Intel Pentium 2.60GHz processor 64-bit operating system with Windows 7 Home Premium installed. I have downloaded and installed more than once. First time I chose the locations, but in following attempts I allowed the location to be automatically chosen by the installer. Neither choice brought me any luck. Premier Elements does not recognized the presence of the additional content.
I would appreciate any help you could give me.
Moving this discussion to the Premiere Elements forum.
What do you mean by the "expanded" content?
Did you install the standard additional content from the installation disc? If not, where did you get your additional content from?
What operating system are you using?
Could you define what you mean by expanded Content for Premiere Elements 9.0/9.0.1?
If you purchased the product in the box packaging, you get a Content disc. That is the Content. As long as photoshop.com existed, you could have added a limited amount of additional Content by becoming a photoshop.com member. That option is no longer to you with your present version. Then there is Content download from Adobe if you do not have a Content disc from a box packing. Then you use the link:
You can download part or all.
I believe the key to success here is to make sure of firewalls permission with regard to the required Akamai Net Session Download Manager.
Please refer to the recent thread here on this type of matter and also let us know the details of your specific situation.
The expanded content are all the templates for instant movies, themes, menus, transitions, etc. I downloaded the software as well as the 'expanded content'. I followed all the instructions, but, after the installation process, none of the new content is there.

I went through this process of downloading Premiere Elements Content for another user recently. Please check out the step by step at offered toward the bottom of the following thread
Where is the Content missing from:
a. Disc Menus Section of the Program, Titles section of the program, Movie Themes section of the program
b. In the Program Files of your computer?
Please update us on the details. After reading my step by step in thta thread, have you concluded that you did all that I described to get those assets to your computer and Premiere Elements?
