I recorded a concert in a small church of a class of singing students, audio recorded came out OK, the only issue is the piano sound was much louder than the voices.
Any suggestion on wich program or seetings I could use to lower the piano and bring back the voice levels more up front.
Thank you in advance for any ideas.
Send it over to AU and edit there, re import and voila' you gots it.
Unless they were recorded on separate tracks, I think you'll have a problem mixing this properly.
If you use the EQ over in AU you may get a better track. Then not using anything at all. Yes, seperate tracks for each instrument is the way to go, as Jim suggested. However, if you are trying to maximize what you have....Send it over to AU. Which you have that option from PremPRo. It will send the whole audio track over to Au for you to maximize or twee. Then send it back over to your timeline, without having to resync it. Might get another 25-35% better out of a track.
