Sorry, I have googled a lot but I find the list of download options for FlashPlayer debuggers not clear at all. The list is this:
I don't have a clue which one is for use with Chrome. What is a Projector? Is the the one called Projector content debugger what I want if I need to debug in Chrome on Windows 7? I assume the Plugin content debugger (for Netscape-compatible) will work for Firefox and the first one is for Internet Explorer, but what I don't know what the rest of the items are for and Adobe has no descriptions next to any of these.
There are other pages on Adobe that talk about Pepper-based (http://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/find-version-flash-player.html) but what the heck is that? That's not in the list above.
I have always found this page confusing, but haven't had to do anything with it for quite a while. Don't know why Adobe has to make it so hard. Would seem like one click from a developer page should take you to something that clearly says this is the DEBUGGER version for you given the browser you are using. When I am on the home page of the FlashPlayer Developer center (http://www.adobe.com/devnet/flashplayer.html) and click on the link to get the latest version, it takes me here:
http://get2.adobe.com/flashplayer/?no_redirect but that page does not clearly state that I am getting the DEBUGGER version. So is that where I get it? VERY frustrated as you can probably sense.
I know you are a very, very helpful person. Sorry to be so freakin' dense, but I read and followed both of those items before my post. The first one takes me to this page
which has the list in my original post. None of them say mozilla (which I suspect is the key to this puzzle). Is that the Netscape one?
mozilla is the source code for netscape. you want the netscape compatible flash plugin.
