CShockr Oct 23, 2007 6:35 PM (in response to Captiv8r)think of it as an educational remote control which allows each student to "electronically" raise their hand and answer a question without having to actually stick their neck out and actually answer the question (i.e. give a wrong answer...OMG...NOOOO!). The answers are ranked and rated and recorded anonymously. (at least in the students' view...) as part of the "herd", and then results are returned via the clicker software
Students seem to really like using the clickers (as they think I don't know who has read the text and who hasn't...not generally true...) and I was wondering if Captivate can be set up for "Clicker" use.
Captivate slides would be a lot more fun than the current crop of endless PowerPointless slides that some of the faculty are using now.
