If the image is a particular size (e.g., 5" x 5"), when you choose File > Place, and click to place it, it will be placed at that exact size. It will be scaled at 100% in both dimensions.
There is nothing different that InDesign CS5.5 is doing that wasn't done in versions before or after.
I work with multiple indesign files and out of no where one of the files started placing the images at 107 percent. My other files place at 100% so I figured something had changed in my default on that one file. I don't know how to re-set it...
Are you placing the image inside a pre-existing graphic frame, or are you placing it without a pre-existing frame? If it's a pre-existing frame, the new file may be taking on the frame's previous settings. Try simply placing the file without a frame (letting it make its own frame). Hope this helps!
There is no pre-existing frame and it is only .psd files.
Pdf's place at 100% but .psd files place at 107%. I have to place over 200 psd's and it will take me forever if I have to correct each image. Please help!!!!
And you just click and release?
Is it just this file, or all new files, too?
